B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering finds application in all fields of engineering and technology. Mechanical engineers have always been needed as essential staff personnel in various industries of both public and private sector. As the Industrial sector has drastically risen in pace, the need for more mechanical engineers has increased exponentially.

Currently there are one CAD lab, one Mechatronics Lad, Measurement lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, Heat transfer Lab, IC Engine, Workshop, Applied Mechanics Lab, among which one Petrol engine from Maruti, Turbines, and upcoming mini Power Plant will be of great attraction. The college offers a 4-years course of study leading to B. Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO):

PEO 1: Stand out or excel in professional career and/or higher education by acquiring knowledge in mathematical, computing and engineering principles.

PEO 2: Study or analyze real life problems, design and utilize machines and methods appropriate to its solutions that are technically sound, economically feasible and socially acceptable.

PEO 3: Show professionalism, ethical attitude, communication skills, team work in their profession and get used to to current trends by engaging in lifelong learning.

Program Outcomes (PO)
  •   An ability to apply knowledge of computing, mathematics, science and basic engineering concept for the CSE program.
  •   An ability to analyze a problem, and identify and formulate the computing requirements appropriate to its proper solution.
  •   An ability to design, implement, and evaluate a computer­based system, processes, component, or program to meet desired needs with appropriate consideration for social and environmental needs.
  •   An ability to design and conduct experiments for data interpretation.
  •   An ability to use current techniques, skills, and modern tools necessary for computing practice.
  •   An ability to analyze the local and global impact of CSE based technology on individuals, organizations and society.
  •   Understanding of contemporary issues.
